The ISA Athletes’ Commission (AC) was established in 2018 and consists of 7 athletes who play a vital role in representing the voice and interests of athletes on executive-level, sport-based decisions. The ISA AC’s mission is to consider matters as they relate to athletes and provide advice and recommendations to the ISA. The Chair of the ISA AC holds a position on the ISA Executive Committee to ensure that the athletes’ opinion is heard at the highest level of governance of Surfing.

The International Surfing Association (ISA) has today confirmed that Egypt will be its 111th National Federation Member. The number of ISA Members in Africa now rises to 17, which is helping to further drive forward the expansion of surfing across the continent.

An International Surfing Association (ISA) delegation visited Santiago to review progress in the 2023 Pan American Games and has approved the surfing location. The ISA technical team, who has completed an assessment visit to the Chilean capital, confirmed the surfing venue will be in Pichilemu at the well-known break ‘Punta de Lobos’.
