Born in Ukraine. Spent a lot o time by the Black Sea in Odessa and Crimea. Traveled the world. Lived in Barcelona for 2 years. Currently residing in Los Angeles.

Because of ruzzian invasion, my country is on fire, and many people suffering and dying. My homies and I won't be able to surf our home surf break safely because of the sea mins drifting near our coastline. I am very grateful to our Armed Forces of Ukraine and all who support us in opposing the evil nazis from ruzzian.

I live, work and surf in United Arab Emirates, Dubai. I am not a professional surfer, I am a dance teacher. I surf for 3 years ony. 

My name is Valentyn, I’m 30 years old, and I work as a software engineer. I’m originally from Starobilsk in the Luhansk region of Ukraine, which has been under Russian occupation since the full-scale invasion in 2022. A year ago, I moved from Ukraine to Portugal, and I’m currently living in Peniche.

I learned to surf in Bali three years ago, and since then my life has been all about it. I’ve been traveling and exploring surf spots across Indonesia and Latin America.

Surfing became my way to connect with nature and also a mental escape from thoughts about the war and russian invasion of my country.

I’m grateful to represent Ukraine and hope one day to see Ukrainian surfers at the Olympics :)

Hi, I'm Tiana, originally from the beautiful country of Ukraine. Despite spending the last 15 years in New York City, my heart has always remained tied to Ukraine. However, it was during a vacation in Waikiki five years ago that I discovered my passion for surfing. From that moment on, I was hooked.

In July 2021, I made the bold decision to fully commit to mastering the waves, even relocating to Mexico to immerse myself in the sport. Little did I know that this dedication would lead me to proudly represent my homeland, Ukraine, at the ISA World Surf Championship.

I am incredibly humbled by the opportunity to showcase Ukraine on the global surf stage, especially amidst the challenges our country currently faces. It is an honor to raise my country’s flag alongside over 50 other nations at this prestigious event. Moreover, it's a privilege to ensure that Ukraine's presence continues to be felt in future championships.

This journey represents a unique opportunity, both for myself and for Ukraine. It's only the third time Ukraine has been invited to compete against the world's best, making this event all the more special. I am thrilled to be part of this historic moment and to represent my country with pride and determination.
