I grew up in scheveningen near the beach and learned surfing there togheter with my brother Tom (who is also in the team) as a surfer in Holland, you need a lot of patience. Sometimes it could be flat for weeks. But most of the time in autumn and winter we get some nice swells. This is my 5th time participating in the ISA World Surfing Games.

I was born in The Netherlands and lived there for about half of my life. Now I live on the small Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao, where I am privilaged to be able to enjoy the ocean almost every day....without a wetsuit ;-). I am very happy for this opportunity to represent The Netherlands and to be part of this great surfing family.

I'm Oliver heintz and I'm 18 years old and it's been a goal of mine to represent the Netherlands for a long time, I'm bilingual. I'm in my last year of high school and I will be travelling around the world for a year to surf all the QS competitions next year. My goal is to reach the 2028 and the 2032 Olympic Games
