One of Jamaica's first pro surfers, love surfing and skating at home with friends and passing on my experience to the next generation of young athletes from Jamaica, I came straight here to the games from competing in "STAB HIGH" in Costa Rica which was one of the biggest events I've done so far, I want to just keep enjoying being in the ocean doing what I love, together let's all work together to keep oceans clean and free of pollution.

My name is Ackeam Phillips I have been surfing since I was about 9 years old. Started learning before I could swim because it fascinate me how they would be able to balance on what seems like a little piece of board. Surfing has been my way to cope with anything life has to offer. Thanks to my girlfriend and my very supportive family they always push to do my best.

My name is Javaun, but I go by Javii or local surfer,I am a competitive surfer (currently #3 in Jamaica) and surf instructor with 20 years of surf experience. I’ve seen a lot of beaches all over the world but my favorite one is Boston Beach in Portland, Jamaica, where I learned to surf, in the heart of the community i grew up in. I love to surf there, to teach there, and explore the nature all around me when I am out of the water. My Fav is food: Ackee and saltfish, our National dish here on the island of Jamaica. When the sea is flat I love to cook on open fire beachside with my friends.
