My surf story is quite long and complicated, as i am coming from Latvia living by the Baltic sea that doesn’t have ground swell, but a wind swell, so the surf isn’t really constant there.  Long story short - only the last 9 years i have been surfing more constantly - Latvian winter season (September to May) going on a surf trips and spending time in a water as much as possible, but in our summer time surfing in Baltic see. Of course, if i am at home in the winter, i surf in the cold water. Last winter season i was spending in Portugal and for the second year training with Filipe Anjos. I have competed in Baltic level – winning Lithuanian Championship and competitions in Latvia. But to be honest, more i have been competing in wakeboarding winning several times Latvian Championship.
