I grew up and learned to surf in the Outer Banks, NC. Hurricane season is my favorite time of year at home for waves. I have competed in ESA, NSSA, USA Surfing, QS and the JQS and am excited to complete in my first ISA event.  My career Highlights: - Have won 9 USA Surfing Events - Won NSSA National Title in 2020 - Have won 2 Rip Curl Grom Search Events - Best result in US Championships is 2nd in U16 earlier this year - Best result in a QS was an equal 5th in Cocoa Beach earlier this year - Current ranking on the QS is 29 (before Santa Cruz event) - Current ranking on the JQS is 16 We travel a lot and have surfed in Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Barbados. I also spend 3-4 weeks each winter in Hawaii.

I am so thankful for my family, my friends, my sponsors and USA Surfing for always supporting me in my sport. I am so excited for the incredible opportunity to compete in this amazing place. Thank you so much to Rio De Janeiro and to Brazil for hosting this incredible event. 

I'm from Florida. Started surfing seriously in 2018. I travel to Kauai to visit my grandparents and love surfing there. My favorite surf trip was to Indonesia. I have 8 east coast championship surfing titles. 10 NSSA nationals finals finishes. I love my surf community and I host my own Grom surf comp for all the local kids and reuse all my old trophies for it. The Oceanwalk pro. I make big paper checks and give away money to the winners. Last year I had my first full year surfing the North American QS and Junior QS at age 13/14 and finished 19th on the QS and 9th on the Junior. This year I am half way through the QS for my second year and I am currently ranked 6th. My favorite QS comp so far as the OBX Pro where I made the final in amazing waves. My next favorite was the Super Girl Pro QS 3,000 in Jacksonville because all of my friends got to come surf my hometwown and I could host them.

I am a 14 year old from San Clemente ca. I am honored to be representing my country in Brazil. 

I'm so excited to be chosen to represent my country for the ISA Jr World Championship! 

Zoe is thrilled to be representing the United States at her first ISA event, heading into her second season as a member of the USA Jr. National Team, and couldn't be more proud to represent her hometown of Half Moon Bay in Northern California.

Some of Zoe's favorite contest results have been winning the USA Prime event at pumping Huntington Beach last year, and making the U-18 final at U.S. Champs this year at Lowers.

Beyond competitive shortboarding, Zoe was proud to become one of the youngest females ever to paddle into a wave at Mavericks last season at 16 years old, and to be nominated for Best Female Performer at The Mavericks Surf Awards. At home, her favorite waves are Kelly St, Steamer Lane, The Jetty (when it breaks!), and Mavericks. She loved spending most of last winter in Hawaii where she caught some of the best waves of her life at Backdoor Pipe, Haleiwa and V-Land, and is excited to return to Hawaii next month.

When she's not surfing or in school, Zoe is a proud member of the California State Parks Lifeguards, where she helps protect the coast between Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz.

I love living in San Clemente, and enjoy surfing all of the different waves. I surf with my friends all around town, mostly at Lowers and sometimes T street or State Park. I started surfing because my dad and older brothers were always in the water and I wanted to be like them.   My favorite thing in the world is surfing with my dad and my brothers at home or on surf trips. My favorite surf destinations are Fiji, El Salvador, Indonesia and Mexico. I have a passion for competitive surfing, I started competing when I was 9 years old and haven't stopped. Competitive accomplishments include NSSA National Champion, Grom Search National Champ 2X and USA Surfing National team.

My favorite thing about surfing is traveling to different places and surfing new waves. I'm stoked to be in Brazil for the first time!

Being able to represent the USA at the ISA World Championships means the world to me. I feel so grateful and honored to be a part of such an amazing team, and great group of surfers. Being a part of this team has been a goal of mine for a long time, and it feels unreal for it to be reality. I am so thankful to be able to represent the United States, and be alongside such a great team of coaching and staff. Excited to illustrate to the world all of the hard work I have and will continue to put into our sport. 

Sara enjoys being on the USA Jr. Olympic Surf team as well as competitive surfing in the WSL QS, USA Surfing Prime, High School Division for her Varsity surf team at Huntington Beach High School and Huntington Beach Boardriders. Sara is the current and 2 X consecutive Open Womens National Champion and 2 X California State Women's Varsity Champion and 3 X consecutive Sunset League Varsity Champion. Sara likes to skateboard in her free time, both street skating and bowl skating.  Sara is an Orange Belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and likes to cross-train. Sara and her family all surf and enjoy the beach and the ocean.
