Ryan is a 16 years old surfer, from Matinhos, where is located one of the best surf spots in south Brazil. Ryan joined the Gabriel Medina Institute Team, and at the moment is trained by his dad.

Starts surf with 7 years old, winning the state champions in base divisions, and national events, also winning events in USA (NSSA and WSA) division.

Ryan have your second home Indonesia, where spend good times surfing when ins not in Brazil.

Prefered surf conditions and spots are 6 to 8´, barrels, desert point, nias, padang padang and bingin.
