Career Goal: To represent NZ at the Olympics one day and to be on the WSL tour

13 years old based in Raglan New Zealand. Always frothing and ready to give anything a go. Loves to compete and make new friends in and out of the water. Growing up on a left hand point break and surfing Manu bay,  but I always love to hunt out knew spots and fun waves around New Zealand. I have a really supportive surfing family and a amazing communitie in Raglan who get behind me a encourage me so much.

I am 17 years old and live in New Plymouth, Taranaki in New Zealand. This is a small coastal city on the west coast of the North Island.  We have a variety of reef breaks, point breaks and beach breaks along the coastline.  My favourite places to surf are Stent Road and The Groyne which is in walking distance from my house.  The people I surf with the most is my dad Kane, Søren and Lee.  I love to fly fish in my spare time.  I also like to foil with dad when the surf is flat.  

Hi my name is Kalani Louis I am an 18 year old surfer from Taranaki, New Zealand. My favourite surf spot is Stent rd. I also like surfing my local beach Fitzroy which is a five minute walk from my house. I have been competing in comps since I was 10 years old. In my spare time I play a lot of golf and in the past have run in cross country and played rugby. I am super excited for this trip and cant wait to meet heaps of new people and hopefully score some pumping waves....

From raglan New Zealand. Been surfing for 6 years.

I am Anna Brock, I grew up in Mount Maunganui which is a coastal town on the east coast of the North Island in New Zealand.  This year I moved to the deep south of New Zealand and I am currently studying at University of Otago in Dunedin which has epic waves but very cold water temperatures.  This is my first time surfing in Brazil although I have travelled extensively with my family surfing in Australia, Indonesia, Asia and Sri Lanka and I am most looking forward to warm water, hot weather and meeting new people.

I moved to Whangamata, NZ when I was 10 and started competitive surfing 2 years later.  I learn't to surf when I was 8 whilst living in Noosa, Australia before coming to New Zealand.   I love surfing both the beach breaks and the Whanga Bar.  

hi my name is tayla green im 17 years old this is my first year surfing in the isa junior worlds and my first time in brazil which is very cool, ive grown up surfing beachies like macumba beach with my younger sister and my dad. im very excited to be surfing in my first ever worlds and for my time here in brazil with the newzealand team.

Tao Mouldey 16 year old grom from Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. Tao was 4 years-old when he learnt to surf on a foamie. More than a decade later he is currently ranked 1st in New Zealand’s in the Under 16 Boys Grom Series National division - for the third consecutive year. 

Tao comes from a long line of “old Mounties” who have the ocean in their blood - Cross Roads surf spot is just a two-minute walk from home.

Last year Tao placed 17th at the ISA 2022 Junior World Championships in El Salvador, he was also the highest-placed Kiwi from the NZ team at the El Salvador contest.

He and his two brothers Zen and Zigy who all have a deep love of surfing and respect for the ocean. Fishing, swimming, boating, snorkling, sailing and snowboarding are a huge part of the Mouldey family’s lifestyle.

Favourite surf breaks overseas are Restaurants and Cloud Break in Fiji, Padang Padang and Temples in Bali, Snapper Rocks and D-bar in Australia and Matakana Island and Whangamata bar In New Zealand. I love traveling in search of the best waves and love meeting other surfers who share this passion.

Possibly the southern most based competitor competing at ISA Junior Worlds - Alexis is from Dunedin, New Zealand, located 46 degrees south, Alexis often surfs with Sea Lions, Leopard Seals, Penguins, Dolphins and Orcas. Water temperature range of 7 degrees in winter to a maximum of 18 degrees in summer

I live in Raglan New Zealand which is a world class left hand point break named Manu Bay, Whale Bay and Indicators.

Current Student of the Raglan Surf Academy with legendary teachers Larry Fisher and Deane Hison and a bunch of frothing students.

Inspired by Ethan Ewing surfing and really fortunate to have a load of really supportive Raglan crew like Daniel Kereopa, Hutch, Larry, Caleb Cutmore and Taylor who encourage me in my surfing and give me wise advise.

Come from supportive surfing family and surf loads with them especially my sister Alani Morse who is also competing in the ISA Juniors for u 16 girls.

We all love to travel around and really enjoy surf comps as it takes us to knew spots around NZ and the world.

I'm Leia Millar, I'm from Piha, New Zealand and I'm 16. I grew up surfing and I have always loved competing. I enjoy surfing, snowboarding and travelling with my friends and family.
