Hello my name is Miamar Soto Perez. I am 16 years old. I was born in Aguadilla Puerto Rico I live with my parents and 2 sisters. My parents also surf, and I grew up in a surfing environment which led me to compete at my 5 years of age I feel so happy being able to surf with my family. I also practice hobbies like skate, write songs, sing, theater, jiujitsu, capoeira,  gimnastics, golf and play the ukulele. I also have a jewlery business with my sisters. I love bees and apiculture. My plans for the future in surfing are making the cut in the WSL and go to the olympics and become a professional surfer. Also finishing studies in dermatology and become an enterpenour. I would love to travel the world surfing and also teach others about God Jesus and all his wonderful stories.

I’m 13 years old. I was born in NYC, my mom is from Japan and my dad is from Puerto Rico. My family moved to Puerto Rico from New York City when I turned 3 to be closer to the nature and beach.  My sister Olivia and I spent a lot of time at the beach growing up since my dad is a surfer.  My dad is my coach. I’ve always enjoyed surfing and started to compete seriously 3 years ago. I went to El Salvador last year with Puerto Rican team to support.  Both my older sister Olivia and I made it to the team this year, so I am very proud and excited.

I just turned 16 a few days ago. I was born in NYC, my mom is from Japan and my dad is from Puerto Rico. We moved to Puerto Rico when I was 6.  My younger sister Ema (who is also competing in this event) and I spent a lot of time at the beach growing up since my dad loves to surf. I’ve always enjoyed surfing and started to compete seriously last year.  Making it to the national team was one of my goals, so I am thrilled to compete at ISA this year for the first time and to represent Puerto Rico. My favorite surfers are Coco Ho and Ethan Ewing. 

My name is Jack Turgis Young I'm 16 years old, and I'm super excited to represent my favorite place in the world, Puerto Rico!  I'm super excited and honored to be able to surf against the best surfers in my age division from around the world!

My name is Elian Gelabert Gonzales im 16 years old and I live in Aguadilla. Since I was very young my father and mother exposed me to nature and out door activities , witch helped spark my love for sports of every kind. I have done a little of plenty of diferent sports but never in a competitive realm. Until about a year ago, when I started competing in surfing. I always took surfing more seriously than the rest of the sports since its the only one I spent genuine time on. When I started competing I wasent really good because I wasn't used to the pressure and apart from that I would fall a lot more than you'd like. Slowly I started getting the hang of it and that leads me to were I am know.

I am 15 years old, grew up surfing and fishing in San Juan puerto rico,I was originally taught to surf and fish by my father Randall Selsby.

  Hi my name is Sinai Soto Perez, I am 14 years old. I grew up in Aguadilla Puerto Rico with my parents and my 2 sisters, we have always been a family of surfers. Since I remember, I always loved the ocean. Year by year practicing more and more and doing all the surfing competitions in the island. I join the Puerto Rican team 2 years ago with 12 years old and it is a privileged  and an honor to represent my country at such a young age in the 2022 - 2023 ISA World Junior Championships. Seeing the girls surfing generation grow has been wonderful, and to grow with it more exciting. Besides surfing there are more sports I love to do like skate, juijitsu and gymnastics, these three sports have  been an important key for my performance in surfing.My goals are to win the 2023 ISA junior championship and be a professional WSL surfer, go to the Olympics,have a physician profession and obtain more knowledge and experience throughout the years.                                                  

My name is Mya Kuzmovich and I live in Aguadilla, PR. I have been surfing since I was 2 years old and started competing when I was 9 years old. I aspire to one day quality for the World Championship Tour. One of my other surfing goals is to surf Teahupoo! My training consist of waking up early and surfing everyday before and after school and always challenging myself with bigger, steeper waves. My favorite surfers are Coco Ho and Zoe Benedetto. I also like Jon Jon Florence. My favorite foods are poké bowls and ice cream! 

Born in Lewis, Delaware but I have lived in Puerto Rico my whole life. I like to be called Joey. This is my fourth year of competetive surfing and my second time going to the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship. I used to mainly play football. I fell in love with surfing and never went back!

Really stoked to compete in my first Open Isa Games! I love to cook and have a good time with family and friends!

My name is Jose Angel Morales, named after Jose Angel. If you know, you know and if you don't, ask. I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Started surfing at age 7. Currently living on the North Shore, Oahu. I like barrels and lengthened boards. Gracias a todos los que me ayudaron a llegar a Brazil !
