Bastian is happiest while in the ocean or near it. He absolutely loves surfing and being in contact with nature. His first encounter with surfing was when he was around 3 years old while in Morroco. He couldn't swim so he had floaties in his arms whilst his father pushed him in small but perfect waves.  Raised in a surfing family, he lives in Punta Hermosa, surrounded by all-year-round waves. He has represented Peru two times at the South American Championship and is very proud of representing his country for the ISA Junior World Surfing games. He enjoys traveling, getting to know new waves and meeting new people who share the same passion.  He has spent  the last two seasons in the North Shore of Hawaii, surfing waves such as Rocky Point, Pipeline and Waimea.  In 2022 Bastian was invited to the Red Bull Rising event in Brazil, hosted by Adriano de Souza.  Bastian has been U12 Surfing National Champion in 2018 and since then he has always achieved podium. He has been U14 South American Champion in 2022 and finished 3rd at the South American Championship in the U16 in 2023. Bastian also loves skateboarding, becoming Peruvian National Bowl Champion in 2018.

From a very young age I liked the sea. I started competing when I was 7 years old. I like the adrenaline and the atmosphere of the competition. Surfing is my passion. It's my first international championship outside my country. I'm very focused in achieving good results and doing my best efforts representing my country  and learn from this valuable experience.

Sofía is a young surfer from Lima, Peru. In 2020, with the pandemic, Sofi and her family moved to San Bartolo and then to Punta Hermosa, where she found her passion for surfing.

In 2021, with 11 years old, Sofía represented Peru for the first time and was crowned South American U12 champion in Cartagena, Colombia. In 2022, Sofía achieved the title of National Champion in two categories, Sub 12 and Sub 14, as well as Sub Champion in Open.

In 2023, Sofía achieved the title of South American U14 Champion in Mar de Plata, Argentina.

In 2023, Sofia reached the junior grand final at the QS5000 in Saquarema, Brazil, one of the biggest events of the year within the World Surf League circuit. The junior category includes athletes up to 20 years of age. Sofia is in fourth position in the WSL South American Rankings.

My name is Camila Sanday. Im 15 years old, i love the sea, to surf, listen to music and spend my time with my friends

I come from a surfer family, my dad and my brother are my biggest surfing inspiration.  By biggest playing field is and has always been the ocean. My backyard are the best waves of Peru. I inherited the passion for competition since I was born, and now im going to prove it.

I am a Peruvian surfer. It is my second time at the ISA Junior World Championships and I am proud to represent Peru again. I aspire to represent Peru at the world surfing tour. I was the national champion in Peru last year.

Hola, soy Manuel Robles, tengo 17 años vivo en Peru. Mis meta es progresar como surfista, competir en el ct, mas campeonatos ISA y promover el surf para todos. También confio bastante en Dios y creo en el plenamente.

Soy Urpi Torres, Surfista , conocí el surf por mi padre cuando tenía poco más de 2 años y desde entonces se fue convirtiendo en mi pasión, a los 7 años asumí el reto de mi primera competencia, y gané.

Esto marcó el inicio de mi pasión por competir, ahora estoy comprometida en mejorar cada día tanto en mi surfing y como persona.

I started practicing different competitive sports since I was 6 years old. At the age of 9 I discovered surfing, the best sport of all, since that day I have not stopped practicing it. This is my first Junior World Cup and I am proud to be able to represent Peru, gain experience to go forward.
