I'm Francisco Mittermayer and I'm 18 years old.

This is my first time representing Portugal in the ISA world juniors and I'm proud to represent my country!

16 years old surfer from Cascais (Portugal), love surfing with my friends. It's my first time representing the Portuguese Team.

I've been surfing since I was 7. I study at the French High School in Lisbon. Training with António Pedro (Topê). I aim to one day get to CT, be world champion, win the Olympics and be able to learn from the best.

I love surfing and discovering new places to surf, since I was litlle I dreamed of competing with the bests surfers. Being able to come here it´s one of my dreams coming true. 

I was 1st in national projunior in santa cruz, 3rd in the national under18, 3rd in the european projunior.  

I also practise judo, I have been National Champion in 2019 and 3x Runner up in 2022/2023.

Competing is what I love.

I am a 16 years girl who leaves in Lisbon, Portugal! I really love to surf all day! I want to do this for all my life and to share with all how wonderfull is this life style

hi im matias canhoto im 16  years old im from portugal peniche supertubos my idol is gabriel medina i would like to be like him My dream is to become professional surfer and live the dream Im starting now my carrer in pro juniors ,staring to learn about more things .

Salvador Vala was born in 3/11/2007 started surfing at the age of 4 in his homebreak Carcavelos, Portugal. Besides surfing he was very into skating.

He loves to compete and surf powerful waves, specially barrels.  

Salvador was U14 national champion and runner up U12 and U16. He also won "Perfect Chapter/Capitulo Perfeito" new generation category in 2022.

He's competing in WSL European Junior U20 circuit and he's best result was a 9th place, this year in Razo, Spain.  

 

I live in the south of Portugal, in the Algarve, more precisely in Portimao, and my beach is Praia da Rocha with lefts all year round except in the summer, which is when I have to go out and travel. I also surf a lot on the south west coast where the sea is more constant and stronge. I often go for seasons to Ericeira, Santa Cruz and Peniche where I train with my coach Manuel Gameiro. I travel a lot, either with my family or with the training team or other surfers, where I highlight the Maldives, California, France, Spain, (including the Canary Islands), Morocco, and in Portugal, including the island of Azores and Madeira. I study at an online school to be able to travel and compete, and I dream of not only completing a degree useful for the community one day, but also being able to continue my competitive activity. Also dream of traveling across the globe and do inspiring and creative surfmovies.

I am 16 years old, I was born in the south of Portugal, Algarve, and just moved to Ericeira at 3 months ago, so that I can surf more and better waves. Super excited for being part of the portugues team. 

I´ve been surfing since I'am 9 years old, started competing at 14 years old, and did jiu-jitsu from 7 to 12 years old.
