Spent 3 weeks this summer in Indonesia to fine tune my barrel riding. Scored Periscopes and Lakey Peaks. Then 3 weeks in New Zealand surfing endless point breaks. 2022 spent a month in Tahiti and was there on the code red swell! From a young age my Dad, Morgan has coached me on my surfing technique and style. Worked with coaches Akila Aipa and Jason Shibata with competitive strategies. I am from the North Shore of Oahu and live at Rocky Point. My family has been in Hawaii since my great grandparents immagrated to Oahu from Upolu Samoa in the 1940's. 

Aloha, Im Chesney. I'm 14 years old and am lucky to call the North Shore of Oahu home. I am a freshman at Kanu o ka aina. Surfing is where I feel most like myself and no matter where this journey takes me I know I will be enjoying the surf for a lifetime. I enjoy traveling, experiencing new waves, cultures and food. I train in Muay Thai as well as dance hula. I am so grateful to represent Hawaii at this years ISA World Junior Championships in Brazil and look forward to this amazing experience.  I Couldnt have made it here without the generous support of so many people and my community as well as my sponsors (volcom-HIC-Matunas-ronin-veia). First ISA games and first time in Brazil. Born and raised in Hawaii. 1/2 Japanese 1/2 American. Both my parents surf but my Mom surf the most in the family. My brother Stone is 2 years older than me so he's always motivating me to do better. Pet Peeve... people that leave their trash on the beach. If you pack it in... pack it out!

Aloha my name is Chrislyn Simpson-Kane. I am 16 years old and I was born and raised in Kuau, Maui, Hawaii. I am a proud Kanaka and am happy to be here in Brazil representing my lahui, my island Maui, and our Hawaii.

My parents are Jacelyn Kane and Christopher Simpson and my siblings are Ty and Amy Simpson-Kane and Benjamin Kane-Igawa. I am a Junior attending King Kekaulike High School. I am currently an honors student looking to major in marine biology.

I have been surfing before I could even walk.  The ocean is where my ancestors come from, it is where my roots begin. My passion is big wave surfing and I am proud to be the youngest female to surf Peahi. I am excited for this winter and the opportunity to travel and surf other big wave locations with my mentor Andrea Moller. 

I'm Jackson Dorian I'm 17 years old.  I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii.  I started out skateboarding and picked up surfing about 8 years ago.  I love to travel and compete.  I'm super excited to be a part of the the Hawaii Surf Team.  My favorite surfer is Ethan Ewing. 

I'm 17, I live on the island of Kauai.  I have a younger brother and sister. We have good waves and I surf a lot!  I like to hang out with my friends and surf, dive, play golf, work on trucks, watch sunsets, hike or whatever else we can find.  This is my first trip to Brazil.  Thanks to the local community for hosting us!

My name is Davi Jardini Stella, I'm a 17 years old. I was born and raised in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. I'm one of 5 kids, I have 3 older brothers, Danilo 22, Diego, Daniel 19 and a beautiful young sister Luana Leialoha 16. My mom and Dad are originally from Brazil. They moved to Hawaii in 1999, they got married in 2000. Unfortunately in 2013 my dad passed away from a Brain Tumor. My mom has been raising and supporting us on her own since.

I started surfing when I was 3 Years old, since I've always had a passion for anything ocean related. I love to surf, fish and hunt.

I'm very proud to be selected to represent Hawaii specially in Brazil being where my family comes from. This is a big step for me in pursuing my dreams of becoming a professional surfer, and I look forward to putting up a fight in Brazil to defend Hawaii's tittle as reigning champions.

I'm Haylee Boverman, I'm 16, and I'm from the north shore of Maui. Super honored to be surfing for Team Hawai'i and super excited to be traveling to a new place and meet new people!

My names Malia Moana Lima, I am from the west side of Kauai. I enjoy lifting, hunting, and dirt biking. I am super stoked and proud to be a part of the hawaii surf team and be able to represent the west side of Kauai. 

Naomi Saenz was born in Oahu Hawaii, her mother is from Brazil and dad is from Argentina. Naomi has 3 brothers and all her siblings and family love to surf, spending time as a family on the beach and going to church on Sundays. She grew up in a small town of Laie, surrounded by the mountains and the sea which made her grow a close relationship with the ocean. She started surfing at a young age, and always excelled in sports, she loves skateboarding and soccer is another one of her passions. She is still currently playing soccer and surfing for her Kahuku High School Team during this Senior year.  Naomi is a true waterwomen, the ocean is her home and is where she feels most alive. She is a water sports enthusiast, besides surfing with short board, she loves to surf with her hydrofoil, longboard and SUP, and also paddling and doing Junior Lifeguard Championships because she thrives by the ocean. Her older brother convinced her to enter the USA SUP surfing Nationals in California in 2021 but they didn't have a Junior division for girls so she entered the open division and got a Vice Champion National SUP Surfing title in the Professional division at age 14.  Naomi didn't start competing for short boarding until last year at age 16, and she got a great result and finished first on the HSA Oahu Junior U16-17 division on her first competing season. Naomi also competed on the WSL Regional QS events this year in Oahu and that was an amazing experience.  But for sure her best accomplishment and honor is to be representing Hawaii Surf Team in the ISA World Junior Championships in the country of her roots and ancestors in Brazil. She is immensely grateful for this blessing and opportunity and hopes to give her best to represent Hawaii with her team.

I was born and raised on the north shore of Kauai, Hawaii.  I am one of 5 kids in my family and second oldest.  In addition to surfing I enjoy doing Jijitsu, Fishing and Spear Diving.  My auntie is a pro-snowboard Olympian, Elena Hight and I my other auntie is Megan Abubo and was the WSL Tour for many years.
