Hi, I'm Maryna! I was born in a small town Uzhhorod in the west of Ukraine far from the sea and the ocean. When I was a kid I never heard of surfing, but I was always into other sports. My name means "from the sea", so it was destined that I ended up living next to the ocean. And that's when I found out surfing was my passion. My first surf lesson ever was in 2013 and I've never stopped catching waves since. At the moment I live in a little surfing paradise on the portuguese coast called Baleal. I'm 33 years old and I'm living my dream life teaching Ukrainian women how to surf and developing Ukrainian surfing.
