In Venezuela is where I learned to surf, in Cuyagua Beach I would pass months surfing during summers. We traveled every year to Venezuela.
In Miami where I lived, there were barely waves. I had to jump from the John Lloyd Park in Fort Lauderdale, close to the Cruise Port, and surfed the waves that the Cruise Ships made.
I surfed Cocoa Beach, New Smyrna and Jupiter Beach local competitions. And I would stay the majority of the year in Costa Rica and Nicaragua to be able to surf every day. Became National Champion in Costa Rica.
A couple of years ago I moved to California. Competed in the NSSA West Regionals. Made the finals.
Since last year I started to travel to compete in the South American Region, which is my main goal right now. And keep training between Costa Rica and California.
I am so excited to be representing Venezuela in the ISA World Surfing Games this year.
