Francisca Veselko, 20 years old Born in California, raised in Portugal. My mom is Portuguese and my dad American. My home breake is Carcavelos and I love to surf in Ericeira. Both of my parents surf and used to compete and represent their countries. My little brother Jaime Veselko is 14 years old and represented Portugal at the ISA in El Salvador last year. Just won my first World Title, World Junior Champion 2022, WSL (January 13th 2023, Seaside Reef, California), and this year I qualified again for the Challenger Series (got 3rd on the European rankings). Giving my all to qualify for the tour.  My favourite surfer is Stephanie Gilmore and my dream has always been to qualify for tour and be multiple times World Champion. 

I have been doing the ISA's since I was 13 years old, and to be honest, I have always dreamed to compete on the open division representing my country. I'm sure that I will learn a lot in this contest and I just came from my first WQS win in Lacanau, so I can't wait to give my best for my country

Born and raised in the south of Portugal, I moved to Sines( 1 hour south of Lisbon) when I was 19 years old until now. I'm 24 years old and I've been surfing since I was 8 years old. Surfing is my passion and I want to get to the World Tour and make a living out of it... I train every day, in and out of the water. I surf at least twice a day no matter the conditions. I have really big hopes to make it into the next olympics in 2024! I already represented my country pretty good in the first surfing olympics in 2020 so I hope to do it again! I'm here and I'm really to smash it! I can't wait to qualify for teahupo'o!

I started surfing when I was 9 and did my very first competition a couple months after. I loved it!!!! Since than I never stopped. Being in the ocean was one of the greatest things I experienced, and still love and feel so free out there. I have a couple goals, one is to qualify to the CT and be a world champion one day, the other is to represent Portugal at the highest level at the Olimpics. I work very hard and I'm so passionate about what I do.
