I'm a professional athlete and a chiropractor. I love the ocean, and to spend time in it. I recently move back to PR and I'm more happy than ever to be part of the PR team in this ISA event.

My name is Nimsay García, I'm 21 years old. Im a full time college student and athlete. I'm a pioneer in what is female SUP surfing and what is professional SUP racing here in Puerto Rico and i intend to keep spreading awareness of our representation in this sport, spoken or in the water. I'm part of a surfing and Paddleboard school named Paddle Sur. Me and my family run it. I love speaking about my sport in different aspects of my life, represent it in my art, and educate different social groups about it. One of my biggest dreams for the SUP sport is for it to reach the Olympics and for it to be in college sports too, globally. 

Im proud of representing my home Puerto Rico and it is an incredible oportunity to compete at our island. I have been practicing the sport for 8 years now and my first ISA worlds were at Fiji 2016. I was also a participant in the Lima 2019 Panamerican Games

Tenia 9 años cuando empece a remar e inmediatamente me encanto.Fui a muchos eventos en Puerto Rico y no me iba tan bien, pero poco a poco fui subiendo hasta que empece a llegar primera y e sido campeona jr por 6 años.Siempre tuve la vision de representar a Puerto Rico en este deporte.Actualmente estoy haciendo Supsurf y Standup paddleboard.Quiero poder seguir viajando a diferentes competencias en diferentes partes del mundo.

i want that the ISA knows about me is that im the Jr. Long distance championship in Puerto Rico in 2021 y have silver and bronce medal in the Games of Puerto rico of 2021 and 2022  and im going to still practicing to be the champion in the mundial on year!

Mi nombre es Edwin Cornier Colón, tengo 20 años de edad, soy estudiante, atleta y legislador municipal. Estaré representando al equipo de Puerto Rico. Llevo practicando el deporte del SUP por 8 años, es mi forma de divertirme, me gusta mucho la competencia y me mantengo saludable al mismo tiempo. Durante los pasados años he competido en distintas competencias alrededor de Estados Unidos, Puerto Rico y El Salvador.
