I was born in FL, but my family is originally from Venezuela. In Venezuela is where I learned to surf. In Cuyagua Beach I would pass months surfing. We traveled every year to Venezuela, and I loved surfing in Anare, Margarita, and Cuyagua.

In Miami where I lived, there were barely waves. I had to jump from the John Lloyd Park in Fort Lauderdale, close to the Cruise Port, and surfed the waves that the Cruise Ships made. I was 8 and would jump with a coach I had at the time. It was gnarly but I loved it.

I started to compete in Venezuela and FL. I surfed Cocoa Beach, New Smyrna and Jupiter Beach local competitions. A couple of years later, I would stay the majority of the year in Costa Rica and Nicaragua to be able to surf every day, and that is where I did the National Circuits, in Central America.

A couple of years ago I moved to California, with the goal of competing but COVID had other plans. I could only made few competitions, and it was really fun.

Since last year I started to travel to compete in the South American Region, which is my main goal right now. And keep training between Costa Rica and California.

I am so excited to be representing Venezuela in the ISA World Surfing Games this year.

Soy Mike Prada tengo 13 años, todos me conocen como Mini Mike, nací en la Guaira, Venezuela, hace 6 años me mudé junto a mi familia a Panamá, vivimos en Isla Colón, Bocas del Toro, he sido selección nacional infantil desde el 2019, actualmente selección junior, aprendi a surfear en Playa Los Cocos, La Guaira.

Hi, I'm Kellyani Flores, I'm only 13 years old and I'm first of all grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to be chosen by the ISA in cooperation with Olympic Solidarity for the Continental Youth Athlete Development Program for the Americas. I want you to know that the majority of Venezuelans who surf are athletes with very low resources. Hola mi nombre es Nelson León, tengo 17 años de edad y soy de un pueblo llamado Cuyagua, ubicado en el estado ARAGUA, Venezuela. Tengo 2 años y 9 meses surfeando y mis maniobras preferidas son los aéreos. Pactico el surf desde los 7 años, fui beneficiado de la beca ISA en el año 2019, estudio actualmente 3er año, vivo en Cuyagua Estado Aragua Venezuela. O'

Pienso en las olas y en el surf todo el tiempo, me seguiré preparando para mejorar mis habilidades en el agua.

Es agradable representar a mi país Venezuela haciendo lo que más me gusta "Surfear" ¡Que orgullo!

Me gusta practicar skate como complemento para mejorar mi surf, soy cinturon amarillo en jiu jitsu brasilero y tambien me gusta el kick boxing. A parte de los deportes me gusta leer diferentes tipos de libros porque siento que son una ventana para conocer el mundo.

I would like you to know, I stared surfing when I was 3 years old with my dad and my sister, my mom supports us from the shore. When I was 13 years old, I have my first experience in a national competition in 2019, and I won the national contest in open female short board and sub 16 female short board. I am from Venezuela-Carabobo-Puerto Cabello, and I live in front of Waikiki, the beach where I learn to surf and now day we surf there, that is a beach break so good. my hobbies are skate, rollerblading and modeling too. I was champion in national rollerblading. my favorite female surfer is Carissa Moore
