I was born in Boerne, Texas and lived there until I was 9 years old. I moved to Hawaii when I was 9 and that is where I learned to surf. I currently spend my winters on the North Shore of Oahu and the rest of the year I spend traveling.

I love surfing especially in barreling waves and waves that have fun air sections. I also really enjoy traveling and getting to meet other surfers from around the world.

I am excited to be a part of Team Canada and it was really special to see how excited my entire family was when I was selected.

I was born and raised in tofino B.C, the ocean has been my favourite playground since a very young age. i did my first ISA Juniors when i was 11, that year they had it in the Azores. My best result in this event was a equal 7th in u18 in 2019.

I have been homeschooled by whole life, my mom homeschooled my sister and i when we were younger, now i do all my school online. i have an older sister and a younger brother. My sister mathea surfs and has always been my biggiest insperation. Being able to look up to her surfing and chase after her level from a very younge age benefitted me alot.

My family is number 1, spending qaulity time with the people i love makes me the happiest.

I grew up in a small town in Canada and started surfing. Right now I'm 17 and finishing up school and enjoying surfing.

My brother and I are super competitive and we love to surf together. I've been surfing for about 6-7 years, and I love the ocean.

My brother and I were captains of our highschool basketball team this year. I also have a dog and three pet bunnies.

I surfed on the Northern LA Boardriders team this year. My local spots are in Ventura and Northern LA, around the Malibu area. I live about 40 minutes away from the beach, but the drive is always worth it.

I was born in Canada but I grew up in a small surf town in Mexico named Sayulita for most of my life. My dad and many locals taught me how to surf when I was 7 years old and after that I just started to fall in love with surfing. I am bilingual in Spanish and English. Ive made many awesome friends along the way that have turned into my surfing crew. Now I'm living in Encinitas California, I am continuing to compete in many pro comps like the WSL QS and USA Prime events. This will be my 4th ISA event and I'm so stoked to compete this year and represent Canada. I've been training and surfing a whole bunch and am ready to have fun and compete!

I live about 40 minutes from Malibu and Ventura so I get to surf some good southern California waves. In additon to surfing I was captain of my high school basketball team. I have a twin brother and we both like to surf, skate and play basketball and we are both on the U16 Canadian team.

This is my final year surfing in the Junior category for ISA and I am grateful for the many amazing places the ISA Junior's has brought me to: the Azores, Japan, Huntington Beach and now El Salvador! Thanks so much to all of the staff and volunteers of this great organization.

My name is Nathan Hereda, I'm 14 years old. Surfing is my life and being a Olympic champion is my dream!

I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but my dual citizenship gave to me the awesome opportunity to join the Canadian national team.

I feel that being at ISA, with the Canadian Team, is a unique chance to grow as an athlete, but also to generate a surfing storm and to make some waves together with all Canadians.
