I am from Cabarete, Dominican Republic. I am lived all my life in Cabarete and been in love with surf and specially longboarding since a young age. In 2022 I started my own surf school Cabarete Surf Company at Playa Encuentro. I have a son of 2 years old and my family and surfing are my happy place. 

Eduar Papito Santana Born in Cabarete, Puerto Plata. Since he was young, at the age of nine, he entered the sport of surfing, emerging as a future high-performance athlete in the Surfboard discipline, however, he has also competed in the Longboard and SUP discipline. Affectionately known as “Papito”. His favorite food is mofongo and he loves to play pool. Already in 2010 he was nominated by FEDOSURF as “Athlete of the Year” for his outstanding performance in the National Surf Circuit of the 2010 season, coming in first place in the Surfboard discipline, Open and Junior category and in fourth place in the Longboard discipline. Also in 2011 he took first place in the “Open Surf” and “Junior Surf” division; He was part of the National Team of the “VIII” Pan American Surfing Games 2007, of the Billabong ISA World Surfing Games of 2010 see PRESS; and the “X Pan American Surfing Games 2011”, competing in the “Open Surf” division. He has competed in other professional international events such as the Reef Classic Latin Pro of Playa Venao in Panama 2011. In addition to Shortboard, Papito is a talented StandUp Paddleboard (SUP) rider, standing out in several international games as a competitor in this discipline. and the short board (Bolivarian Sports Games 2012 in Punta Rocas Peru). He attended as a coach at the ISA World Surfing Games 2021 in Salvador, and is currently dedicated to coaching young surfers in the Cabarete area, Dominican Republic through his surfing academy Dominican Surf School.
