I have been surfing all my life, mainly on a shortboard, but at the end of 2022 i decided to give longboard a try and turns out its really fun and i love it. i was born and raised in costa rica to a mom who has been a national champ in the past so i decided i wanted to do the same thing.  

Surfing since 8 and my goal it's to be the founder of longboard in Costa Rica to bring longboard in Costa Rica and make more popular

Anthonny Flores is a 6-time Central American longboard champion, a 6-time Costa Rican national longboard champion. A native of Jaco beach, Costa Rica, Anthonny found his passion for surfing at age 8 when the Bunch family, from the U.S.A., introduced him to the sport. Sponsoring and encouraging him from day one, Mr. Chappie Bunch became his mentor, coach, and second Dad. Today, more than two decades later, Anthonny continues to follow his dream of becoming a world longboard champion-- with Chappie and the rest of the Bunch family by his side.

Thankful for the opportunities he has been given in his life, Anthonny tries to give back to his local community and help young, up-and-coming surfers whenever he can. Through his own surfboard brand, Magic Mushroom Surfboards, Anthonny handcrafts his own surfboards and donates boards to kids in small towns all over Costa Rica. He hopes to continue to spread the Pura Vida good vibes and joy of surfing to everyone he meets and all over the world.
