My name is Aris Gabriel Voicu, I am a 17-year-old Romanian athlete and the first surfer in Romanian history to compete in a World Surfing Championship.

I discovered surfing while traveling across South America with my family in our VW Kombi, during an 8-month adventure that changed my life forever. That journey, documented on www.iamfamily.eu, opened my heart to the ocean and sparked my passion for surf.

In 2025, I continue representing Romania on the international stage, training full-time in Sargi, Serra Grande, Bahia, Brazil. My dream is to qualify for the Olympics and to help build the future of Romanian surfing.
