I’m a 17-year-old surfer. Born in New York to Italian parents and raised among the surf cultures of California, Hawaii, and Portugal. I currently leave between Malibu CA and Ericeira, Portugual.  My favorite surf spots include Trestles and First Point in California, Coxos in Portugal, and V-Land in Hawaii. Myinspirations are surfers like Andy Irons, Felipe Toledo, and Dane Reynolds.

Born in Rome and Lived for two years in Belgium and in the USA (Virginia Beach). I'm the youngest of three siblings, my sister is living in Scotland and my brother in Rome. I'm attending the 4th year of High School. I also like to ski and snowboard.

Born on February 23rd, 2012) is a rising Cape Verdean-Italian surfer rapidly gaining recognition across the European junior surf scene. Born and raised between Cape Verde, Italy, and Brazil, Michael has grown up surrounded by the ocean. Son of world-renowned kitesurf legend Mitu Monteiro, he has nonetheless built his own identity as a dedicated and high-performance surfer.

At only 13 years old, Michael has already achieved remarkable milestones. He entered the Italian National Surf Team at just 8 years old, becoming one of the youngest athletes ever selected. He is a two-time Italian Champion, and in 2025 he claimed the Rip Curl GromSearch Europe U14 Title, confirming his place among the strongest young surfers in Europe.

Michael trains in some of the world’s most challenging and diverse conditions—from the powerful beach breaks of Brazil to the heavy right-handers of Ponta Preta or the long left of Peru . Despite his young age, he is already accustomed to surfing XXL waves, demonstrating commitment, courage, and a refined ability to read and attack critical sections.

In november 2025, he made his international debut on the WSL Junior QS Europe. During his first-ever WSL Junior event in Morocco, he advanced through several rounds and finished inside the top 50 out of more than 130 athletes

Thanks to his itinerant, constantly traveling family, Michael grew up switching between countries, cultures and surf breaks. As a result, he is fluent in Italian, French, Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Michael is increasingly recognized as a focused, respectful, and determined young athlete. His goals are clear: grow season after season, compete on the biggest international stages, and one day join the world’s top professional surfers. 

Hi, I'm Diana. I was born in Rome on May 29, 2008. I've been surfing since I was two years old and haven't stopped since. I started competing at age 9, winning two Italian junior championships. After a five-year break from competing, I decided to start again, winning the Italian overall championship this year. I travel a lot thanks to this sport, which allowed me to participate in this year's European Championships.
