My name is Liam Sahyoun, I'm 16 years old. I represent Switzerland and I was born and raised in Morocco.

I love my heart country because I can do all my hobbies, surfing, spearfishing, fishing and hunting with my father.

My dream is to surf Maverick and to be a big wave world champ.

Born in Switzerland but moved young to Sunset Beach North Shore of Oahu to where my dad lived his childhood.

Four years ago I moved to landlocked Switzerland. Thankful there are wavepools and river waves in Switzerland and that France is not that far away.

The swiss surfing assosiation does a great job supporting us.

I still spend the winter months on Oahu.

I used to live 3 blocks from Lahaina Harbor, the whole town burned August 8th, 2023 and I been displaced since then. I normally train with Coach Pedro Robalinho (Imai DeVault's coach), but since the fire has become a lot harder to train with him. We end up in opposite sides of the island and Imai being back on Tour keeps Coach Pedro travelling a lot. I surf everyday and have a group of friends who are around my age and surfing level and we push each other. My Dad is from Chile and my mom from California, my heritage on my Dad's side is Swiss and he also competed for Switzerland in the Swiss Windsurfing National Team in the late 80's. My parents met in Maui in the 90's and they have been there since then. They moved for a short period of time to California where I was born. I moved to Maui when I was two and been there since. My sister is engaged to Eli Hanneman and they been together for over 5 years, so I have surfed with him since I remember. It is really cool growing up in Maui, I get to surf with world class surfers like Eli, Imai, Ian Gentile, Jackson Bunch, the Young Brothers, Kai Lenny, etc. all the time and that inspires me.

Born in Basel and moved to Bali in 2013. I am half Swiss (mother) and half Indonesian (father). I started competing in Bali 2021 and fell in love with competitive surfing.

I was born in Dubai, but have been living in Cape Town, South Africa, ever since. I grew up around a big surfing culture, so it was almost a natural thing for me to get into surfing. I live on the beach and surf nearly every day, and when I don't surf, I'll go play a round of golf. I am lucky enough to be surfing with very experienced surfers, such as the Slijpen brothers, Luke Thompson, and a bunch more. I have a very good connection with my shaper Dave Stubbs, and we have dialed in on our boards. It's my second year now competing for Switzerland at the ISA's, and I can't wait to go to another new country. 

I am from Somerset west in the Western Cape of South Africa.  I first started surfing with my brother in strand beach when I was 7. It was always really competitive with him so we would surf every chance we could get. Recently I've been doing a lot of training with Adin Masencamp when I can. In my free time when there aren't any waves I usually play golf with my mates.  I am so excited for isa world champs this is my first time surfing in an international surfing competition 

My name is Sue Gartman. I grew up in Zurich, Switzerland, and have been surfing since I was young. I mostly trained in Switzerland at Urbansurf, and I surfed in the ocean during my holidays. Since September, I’ve been living between Switzerland and France to train and improve my surfing.
I’m very happy to represent Switzerland at the ISA event and I’m looking forward to competing with surfers from all over the world.

I always did a lot of sports like 

gymnastic , skiing , climbing , tennis but in 2021 I discovered surfing at Alaïa Bay Switzerland and then I really strarted in 2022 surfing regularly.

i could really trained well at the pool but the ocean is much more demanding .

i m really happy to go often to Hossegor to surf , it s such a nice place and a fantastic place to progress .
