I am from Lithuania. Surfing since 11 years old. This is my second ISA championship, last year I was in El Salvador. This time in Peru my younger sister Monika is competing in U16 girls. I am the oldest child and I have a brother and 5 sisters. Besides surfing, I like swimming, cycling and running. I take my surf board with me to every vacation. My home surf spot is Melnrage beach in Klaipeda city next to the Baltic sea. I am happy to be in Peru and represent my country. My biggest achievements so far are 2nd place in Lithuanian Open Men Surf Championship and 1st place in Lithuanian-Latvian youth championship.
Pradėjau banglenčių sportą, kai man buvo 10 metų.

Im very happy to be able to participate in this years championships. Last year I could not compete in el salvador due to a car crash accident where I got severley injured. So being able to compete this year in peru means a lot to me.

I am Monika, I am 14 yo. It is the first time I am competing in ISA World Junior Championship and I am very honoured to represent Lithuania. Surfing is quickly gaining popularity in my country, although we only have few spots on our 99 km (~60 miles) Baltic sea coast to enjoy. I hope that competing in Peru will let me show everyone around the world that even small countries athletes can be in big events. I am also keen on meeting new friends who share same surf passion. My older brother Antanas is also competing in this ISA event in U16 boys. Since I have 2 brothers and 4 sisters, I hope ISA World Championships become our family event by time my younger brothers and sisters compete in ISA events :)
