My name is Kai, I'm 16 years old and surfing since I'm 5. I come from Tenerife, Canary Islands, where I started surfing in El Médano, the small town where I live with my parents and my brother.

My mother is Spanish from Tenerife, Canary Islands and my father from Cologne, Germany. This is why I have double nationality. I'm proud to be part of the German national team and very gratefull for all the support I get from them!

I spend several months a year in Ericeira/ Portugal as I love Portugal for training and spending time and my coach is Manuel Gameiro (Next Generation Surf) from Carcavelos.
