I'm a surfer, prone paddleboarer I love to snowboard. I am an overall athlete who has paracticed sports for over 10 years. I grew up in the mountains of Boulder, Colorado and the beautiful oceans of San Juan, P.R. I recently moved to Puerto Rico where I was borned. I want to be an digital artist and graphic designer. Also, a professional surfer and Prone Paddleboarder.

I grew up as a normal boy in rural area of my home town Guaynabo PR. Loving the river, horses, going always with my dad and family in new adventures, doing art with mom and of course, the ocean. I started to surf for the first time in my age of 12 and later in high school i doing it more often. Nature, adventures, animals and water, they're was my lifestyle. After my 20th birthday I've been shot in my back because i was defending a friend from an fight (abuse) at the beach in Puerto Rico. Since then im paraplegic. Tuff years until i find Jesús and my faith grows and my spirit gets strong. Im back and surfing again in prone (not assisted) im street artist, graphic designer, using my testimony in schools and universities, i get married, i have 2 children 2 boys... so thats i lil piece of my life. Im so happy to be here and enjoying life, people of many parts of the world and enjoying surf in California. Blessings for you all. -Indio.-

I was born in a very humble home.  My parents raised me with love and respect for people.  I practice the sport of surfing from the age of 17 to the present.  This sport helped me get back on my feet after the accident I had in 2007. His close friends call him "Charlie”. He was 18 years old when he became a C-6 complete quadriplegic in 1991 due to a carjacking incident. His family took him to Miami for rehab at the Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. From an early age, he was passionate about water sports, excelling in various disciplines; however, his true passion has constantly been surfing.

I'm a fun and friendly person. I love surfing with my friends and family. I like making new friends all the time. I'm a green belt in karate and white belt with 4 stripes in Jiu Jitsu. I'm super excited and stoked to compete at the ISA World Para Surfing Championship. Looking forward to making new friends and have fun.
