Sou surfista desde os oito anos de idade, minha vida é o surf.

Athlete of the Brazilian Parasurfing Team. ISA ParaSurfing Classification ID 77. At the first, apart from our cultural challenges, I love this sport and I love surfing. Because I don’t have support or sponsorship and because of the various difficulties in our country related to urban mobility (displacement), the equipment and the cost involved in practicing the sport, I surf less than I would like. But I fight within everithing I can to keep the sport active. I’m also a vegan and an activist at the Social-environmental NGO Route Institute. I work and study at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). I have a degree in International Relations; post graduate degree in Administration, Public Management and Social Policies; master in Urbanism, History and Archtecture. Research focus on urbanism environment, access watercourses and adapted water sports and beach acessibility. I am a researcher at the UFSC Ecoando Sustentabilidade Program and researcher at the Interdisciplinary Surf & Sustainability Research Group (SandS/Ufsc) (https://sands.ufsc.br/). I work as an insider researcher (self-ethnographic method and action research). Finally, I really love surfing and study subjects related to the topic. And the three tings I most want today are: surf more to qualify my surf and get a scholarship to do a doctorate abroad, preferably in an English-speaking country to improve my language skills.

I'm a surfer from Praia Branca, i'm 23 years old and i like to spend the time surfing or playing soccer with my friends.

My principal objective is to be world champion, and represent my country.

Após um câncer de mama, enfrentar 16 quimioterapias, retirar toda a mama direita, pensar que não ia mais surfar, volta e realiza um grande sonho. Viajar para competir representando o meu país e surfando. 

My life is fully dedicated to my family—my son and daughter—and to developing and inspiring the entire Para Surfing community here in Brazil.

Sofri um grave acidente de motocicleta em 2011, onde perdi uma perna e todos os movimentos de um braço, ambos do lado (esquerdo), depois de uns 3 meses de depressão conheci o surfe.

O surf me deu um novo rumo na minha vida, já que não era surfista, e hoje sou surfista profissional.!!!

Fellipe kizu Lima surfista adaptado de Waveski ,4x campeão mundial ISA, 3x usopen e 3x campeão Hawaii, nasceu em Belo Horizonte  sempre foi adepto de esportes como skate e surf se apaixonando pelo surfe desde criança ,aos 18 anos caiu de uma varanda e quebrou a coluna ficando paraplégico mas não se abalou e buscou uma forma de voltar a surfar quando descobriu o Waveski e focando na modalidade aonde se adaptou muito bem e se tornando o primeiro campeão mundial da história do surf adaptado e conquistou vários títulos internacionais  , hoje morando em Florianópolis surfa todo dia e prática vários esportes adaptados como mergulho, wingsurf , foil , e canoagem .

Hello everyone! My name is Monique Oliveira, and I am an athlete and a therapist with cerebral palsy. Practicing sports helped me a lot with autonomy and self confidence.  Nowadays, I am studying to be an therapist, and help other people to seek their goals, just like me.
