I'm a surfer from the south of Costa Rica living in a small town named Dominical. traveling and enjoying the culture and waves from around the world living in Costa Rica has been an amazing place to be able to live with amazing weather and always swell I can almost guarantee I'm surfing every day. Im super stoked to represent Costa Rica in the isa this year and show off my surfing 

I´ve been surfing since the age of 4 . My uncle introduced me to the sport and ever since, that´s the reason I wake up for everyday. 

Being here is a dream come true. 

I come from a small surf town called Nosara in Costa Rica. I've grown up surfing around home with my mom.
Other interests/hobbies I have are MMA, art, music, and working out. I've grown a lot this year as a person and especially as a surfer and I'm exited to show the world what I'm capable of! Pura vida 

Empece a surfear a los 9años amo mi país y surfear todo el día ,estuve en el mundial 2019 en Huntintong beach ,compitiendo en sub 16 , en el mundial de el salvador 2022 compitiendo en sub 16 y sub 18 , también en Brazil compitiendo en sub 18 ,soy campeona centroamerica 2021 junior y open mujeres y e estado haciendo los nacionales de Estados Unidos en los cuales obtuve un primer lugar en open girls y un 3er lugar en Open woman's 

My name is Tamaya Murphrey, I am 15 and I am from a small town in Costa Rica called Nosara. I started surfing at the age of 4 but didn't really get into it until I was 11. Both of parents my parents are surf enthusiasts, and I am so grateful we share that love and passion for surfing. This is mt second year doing a ISA junior comp! So excited. 

Me llamo Mikela, tengo 10 años, soy Costarricense, vengo de la provincia de Limón, de barrio Cieneguita y mi playa Cieneguita.  Mi sueño es ser campeona mundial ISA, llegar a las olimpiadas, ser veterinaria y ser una persona que inspira a otras a ser mejor.
