Empecé a surfear a los 15 años ya que antes hacía natación, me enamore del longboard cuando vi que se podía caminar hacia la punta y cuando me entere que teníamos a un campeón mundial (Piccolo Clemente) me motive aún más a intentar hacer un hang 5 y después un hang 10, fui mejorando hasta que llego el día que mi ídolo se convirtió en mi compañero de equipo

I'm passionate for the waves since i was 7 years old. I also like animals and dreamed of being a vet and working on a zoo but my fear of blood kept me away from laboratories, sadly. But I have a big dog to compensate and he makes me happy.  I'm currently studying communication and will be graduating soon if everything goes as expected.  In my free time, i share my knowledge of the sea and help people learn how to surf. That makes me feel full filled and i get some extra cash for traveling and competing. 

Maria Fernanda Reyes is the queen of longboarding in Peru, with a 2018 world team runner-up among her laurels, and the unforgettable Silver Medal at the Pan American Games Lima 2019.



At only 25 years old, she is already recognized as an ambassador of longboarding in the country and the region.
