My journey in surfing extends beyond personal aspirations; it's about igniting a passion for the sport in the next generation of Ukrainian surfers. I firmly believe that surfing has the power to unite people and heal the wounds inflicted by war. I am committed to advancing surfing in Ukraine and inspiring others to pursue their dreams despite adversity.

"Serafim used to be an IT-specialist and had a pretty boring life. Not to become a total geek he started playing american football and was quite good in it. But in 2011 he tried surfing and his life was irrevocably changed. 

After a couple of years of riding waves, he started to promote surf culture in Ukraine — and that’s how Surfin’ua (surf trips agency) was born.

Right before the war started by russia in Ukraine, he moved to Portugal with his wife and newborn son. Now lives and works in Ericeira."

I was born in Korosten, Zhytomyr Region. Tried surfing in 2015. I'm in business.  and also ride at Nazaré.

"Fell in love with surfing on my very first  lesson. Made a few crazy decisions, turned my life upside down and run away to Bali to start my surfing journey , and now 5 years later here I am , at ISA surfing games in beautiful Puerto Rico ! 
2 years ago my surfing journey was brutally interrupted, and my life became full of pain and constant heartbreak , but eventually I went back to surfing and I can tell that it saved my life ! "

"Hi, I'm Tiana, originally from the beautiful country of Ukraine. Despite spending the last 15 years in New York City, my heart has always remained tied to Ukraine. However, it was during a vacation in Waikiki five years ago that I discovered my passion for surfing. From that moment on, I was hooked.

In July 2021, I made the bold decision to fully commit to mastering the waves, even relocating to Mexico to immerse myself in the sport. Little did I know that this dedication would lead me to proudly represent my homeland, Ukraine, at the ISA World Surf Championship.

I am incredibly humbled by the opportunity to showcase Ukraine on the global surf stage, especially amidst the challenges our country currently faces. It is an honor to raise my country’s flag alongside over 50 other nations at this prestigious event. Moreover, it's a privilege to ensure that Ukraine's presence continues to be felt in future championships.

This journey represents a unique opportunity, both for myself and for Ukraine. It's only the third time Ukraine has been invited to compete against the world's best, making this event all the more special. I am thrilled to be part of this historic moment and to represent my country with pride and determination."
