My surf story is quite long and complicated, as i am coming from Latvia living by the Baltic sea that doesn’t have real swell, but a wind swell, so the surf isn’t really constant there.  But in a short way - only the last 7-8 years i have been surfing more constantly - Latvian winter season (September to April) going on a surf trips and spending time in a water as much as possible, but in our summer time surfing in Baltics. Of course, if i am at home in the winter, i surf in the cold water. Last winter season i spend training in Portugal, Peniche with my surf couch Nika Rosario (surf more coaching) that actually is the first trainer ever i have had in surfing. After i went to South Africa to train by myself.  I have competed in Baltic States level – winning Lithuanian Championship and competitions in Latvia. But to be honest, more i have been competing in wakeboarding winning several times Latvian Championship. I am sponsored and supported by Rip Curl Europe and our local shop Boards.lv, as well as the We skate waves. Happy and proud to represent Latvia for second time in World Surfing Games.

Long time dream to have time to surf came true 3 years ago, when I lived in Kuwait and my previous employer after me not stopping to talk about wanting to surf agreed to let me work half time remote. :D So I took every chance to go on a trip somwhere in the world and surf :) Still pretty green in this sport but I am getting there and I love it. Just started my own company and now I am travelling and working online, chasing adventures and waves.
