I started sup racing in the first lockdown, in the channels between the fields. The same year I participated in my first race, and now I am competing in the worlds.

My name is Tanja Ecker, born in 1992 and raised in the southern Black Forest, I have always been very close to nature and sports. That’s why I also studied sports science. Stand-Up Paddling is a passion that has now become a profession. As a professional stand-up paddle athlete I’m part of the German National team and could win already several national and international titles including 12 German National titles, a win of the SUP 11-City Tour in 2022 and a record finish of the Loire 725 km in 71 hours in 2023. Besides being an athlete I have also built a career as a successful coach. My second passion and profession is the photography. You can find out more about this path on www.tanjaecker.de. Both as an athlete and photographer, I work with different companies, brands and events like SUP 11X, manage the social media channels, am committed to sustainability with Ecoathletes and want to share my enthusiasm and passion for sports and nature with others. I want to help paddlers reaching their individual goals with specific training and finding the right gear. After playing handball for almost 10 years, SUP was love at first sight, so to speak. The connection with nature, being outside, for me the sport is the perfect balance and full body workout. Since 2018 I’ve been doing SUP as a competitive sport, still a young sport but growing very fast. I love the versatility of it. You can do it on any type of water in any weather, from flat water to surfing, nothing is impossible. The sport creates a community with athletes from all over the world. 

I'm Jojo, 17 years old, from Bavaria/ Germany. At the moment I am at a german highschool in the 12th grade. I do paddle races since 2019. Starting with a lot of flat water races I found my love on the ocean and started sup surfing and surfing as well. My first international race were the Eurochamps in Hvide Sande Denmark where I placed fourth in Long Distance and Techrace. At last years edition I placed fourth in the longdistance race again in really challenging conditions in Peniche/ Portugal. I'm really proud and look forward to be a part of the german team at the ISA Worldchamps 2024.

I'm Skadi Langbein, I´m still 17 years old and I come from Berlin. I just finished school this year. I have been paddling since 2016. SUP sport plays a very important role in my life; I really enjoy training and competing. I have been on the Havelracers team since 2018 and I am trained by Martin Teichmann. In the summer of 2021 I signed my first contract with Sunova and I am therefore an official Sunova team rider. This season I'm riding the Sunova Flatwater 14×19 Elite Faast Pro and a Custom Allwater 14×21.5. My paddles are from Quickblade, UV 77 and T2 79. German Sprint Champion 2024, love racing in challenging conditions with wind & waves. In the winter time I'm training on the island of Gran Canaria. Dreamed of also competing at the World Championships back in 2017 when I accompanied my sister Noelani at the ISA Worlds in Copenhagen. Proud to have been the first german paddler competing in the ISA SUP Worlds Junior's Tech Race 2018  in ISA history. 

Starting on the Racesup at age 8. Trained a lot in Holland with his friends and his dad Jorg Bossack as trainer. Doing a lot of competions in Holland and abroad, getting better every time. Benyam has a German and a Dutch pasport, but decided to go for the German Team. Since 1.5 years he started training with Leudo Teulade. Supsurfing he started during holidays but he likes it a lot, still lots of room for improvement there.
