His close friends call him "Charlie”. He was 18 years old when he became a C-6 complete quadriplegic in 1991 due to a carjacking incident. His family took him to Miami for rehab at the Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. From an early age, he was passionate about water sports, excelling in various disciplines; however, his true passion has constantly been surfing.

Sean Reyngoudt, raised in Summerland key, fl and has been living in PR for 7 years. Passionate about water sports from an early age. Sean has competed in different adapted competitions such as wakeboarding, kitesurfing and surfing, obtaining several awards such as, 7-time gold medal winner in Extremity games, first place in 60 miles kiteboarding race. Sean learned to surf after having his accident at the age of 19. He stands out for being risky, friendly and very sociable. His favorite beaches for surfing are wilderness, machucas and the spot.
