Join our upcoming live, interactive online workshop designed for judges, athletes, and individuals looking to strengthen their understanding of priority judging.

Led by expert priority judges, this workshop will walk through key priority rules and real competition scenarios. Participants will have the opportunity to engage, ask questions, and gain practical insights to apply in their judging or competitive surfing careers.

ISA Women’s Online Judging Workshop

We are pleased to announce the upcoming interactive Online Women’s Judging Workshop, designed to elevate women in surf judging through practical learning, open discussion, and shared experience. This workshop, which will take place on July 9, 2026 from 11 AM – 2 PM Pacific, supports the ISA’s commitment to advancing gender equality in surfing by increasing access to judging education and creating more pathways for women to grow as technical officials within the sport.

Application Deadline is July 5, 2026. Participation will be free for approved applicants. Selected participants will be notified in the weeks leading up to the program. The workshop will take place July 9, 2026 from 11 AM – 2 PM Pacific.

ISA Women’s Judging Program Application

The requirements for participation are:
Women age 18+ / Endorsement by your National Surfing Federation /Surf Judging Experience

Selected participants will have the opportunity to shadow judge and learn from a dedicated program Judging Expert, the ISA Technical Director, and the Judging Panel. Daily learning exercises and debriefs will be included to expand judging knowledge and experience what it is like to judge at a World Championship event.
