Confidential Reporting at the ISA
The International Surfing Association (ISA) is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, lawful, and ethical environment for everyone involved in our sport. This includes athletes, officials, staff, volunteers, coaches, and all members of the global surfing community.
The Safe Reporting system provides a confidential and secure way to raise concerns about conduct that may be unlawful, unethical, unsafe, or inconsistent with ISA values.
You are encouraged to speak up if something does not feel right.
What can be reported?
Reports may relate to, but are not limited to:
- Harassment, abuse, or safeguarding concerns
- Discrimination or inappropriate conduct
- Breaches of the ISA Code of Ethics or Codes of Conduct
- Conflicts of interest or integrity concerns
- Any action that may be illegal, unethical, or contrary to ISA rules and regulations
You do not need to be certain that a violation has occurred. Reporting concerns in good faith is encouraged.
How Safe Reporting works
- Reports may be submitted with your name or anonymously
- Information is treated as confidential
- Reports are reviewed fairly and proportionately
- Independent external experts may be involved where appropriate
- Retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith is strictly prohibited
If there is an immediate risk to safety, please contact local emergency services first.
