Apply below to participate in the ISA Women’s Judging Program at the 2026 ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in El Salvador 4-13 September, 2026.

Selected participants will have the opportunity to shadow judge and learn from a dedicated program Judging Expert, the ISA Technical Director, and the Judging Panel. Daily learning exercises and debriefs will be included to expand judging knowledge and experience what it is like to judge at a World Championship event.

The key aim of this program is to train and develop more female surf judges for consideration on the panels at future ISA World Championships.All expenses for selected participants (travel, accommodation, meals, uniforms) will be subsidized by the ISA and the program is free for the women selected to participate.

The requirements for participation are:

  • Women age 18+
  • Endorsement by your National Surfing Federation
  • Surf Judging Experience

Application Deadline is June 30, 2026. Selection will be made based upon a combination of judging experience and universality. Selected participants will be notified the following week and travel arrangements will be made.
