ISA Reinforces Commitment to Stand-Up Paddle and Paddleboard Disciplines
Competition will take place November 10-15

Today, the International Surfing Association (ISA) announced that Surf City El Salvador will host the 2025 ISA World StandUp Paddle and Paddleboard Championship (WSUPPC), to be held November 10-15, 2025.
The 2025 edition will mark the 12th time the ISA has staged the WSUPPC, following recent events in France (2023) and Denmark (2024). Since its inception in 2012, the annual championship has established itself as the premier global SUP and Paddleboard competition, consistently crowning the sport’s undisputed World Champions and reinforcing the ISA’s commitment to showcasing the discipline at the highest level.
This will be the second time that Surf City El Salvador has hosted the WSUPPC, having first staged the event in 2019. It also represents the 11th major ISA World Championship to be hosted by Surf City El Salvador, highlighting the nation’s emergence as a global center for surfing and paddle sports.
