  • Security Protocols in El Salvador

Regarding safety in El Salvador, here is an official letter from the Ministry of El Salvador (explanatory note on security measures in El Salvador).

The ISA Staff have received a full briefing on security during the last inspection visit and received an in-depth security plan. Based on these factors and our experience working with the Minister of Tourism on past events including the World Surfing Games last year, we have full confidence in the local organizers and their ability to deliver a safe and secure event.

Notwithstanding the above, the local organizers are available to address any specific security concerns you may have and ready to provide additional support where needed.  In this regard, we encourage you to contact the general manager of the event, Alejandra Duran, for further assistance.
