ISA World Junior Champ starts May 24

The Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship will start in less than 10 days at the waves of Le Penon Plage, France. This is the greatest world surfing tournament for the under 18-year-olds and will take place from May 24 to June 1. Almost 250 athletes representing more than 30 different countries are expected.

Overall Gratification for the ISA World Masters Surfing Championship

A real surfing celebration took place from March 30 thru April 6, in the classic waves of Punta Rocas, where the second edition of the annual ISA World Masters Surfing Championship took place. This is the only world tournament for surfers older than 35 years old.

Eduardo Arena: Trophy and Lifetime membership

During the second edition of the annual ISA World Masters Surfing Championship, Mr. Eduardo Arena, first President and founder of the International Surfing Federation (ISF) was named Lifetime Member of the ISA. The just introduced ISA World Masters Championship trophy was also named after him.

Fernando Aguerre named Honorary Member of the Waikiki Surf CluB IN PERU

On March 30, 2008, right after the Sands of the World Ceremony, that opened the ISA World Masters Surfing Championship, in Lima, Peru, the participating teams attended a welcome party organized by one of the oldest surfing clubs in the world, the Waikiki Surf Club.
