The ISA is recognized by the International Olympic Committee as the world governing body for the sport of surfing.  Its members comprise all significant national surfing federations [54].

The ISA would like to offer you the benefits of belonging to the largest world wide program of ISA recognized Schools.  A sure sign of respect and prestige for the leading surf schools around the world.

As a member of the ISA International Surfschool Register, each surfschool must sign off on commitments to follow a designated Risk Management Operational Plan and include within their lessons certain basic elements of “learn to surf” content.
